you mean to say - PICK AN AUSSIE - yeah I know exactly what you mean - when I lived in sydney - all the cabbies couldnt speak one damn word of english - so I had to walk. the F n B. it is being overtaken by immigrants - especially the suburbs - like parramatta or cabramatta - boy I wouldnt dare go into those neighbourhoods - you find more of the true blue aussies in the outback - but hey thats not a racist question quite frankly its true and a true blue aussie saying

Actually a very interesting question. With all due respect, our country has become multinational, a true melting pot, much like the USA has been for the past fifty years. It is getting harder to find true Aussies in the cities. It is tough to find a bush dance. The B and S dances of the past have moved further and further into the outback. This is not a racist question, rather, it is a reflection on the fact that Australia is maturing. We need to identify the positive aspects of our heritage and honour them. At the same time, we have a national immigration policy. Let's enforce it, but open our arms to those who comply with it. If you want to meet real Aussies, listen to Slim Dusty, follow his songs around this great land, and visit all those little corners where he brought laughter and song. Remember the Diggers he praised.
Yes, our immigrants are Aussies, but they have a lot to learn. Help them learn while you offer them the respect they deserve. Each time you hear someone say "ta" or "fair dinkum", salute a fair dinkum Aussie! Ta!

There are plenty of Australians in Sydney over 4million of them. All Australians apart from the Aborigines came from somewhere else. Some have been here for one generation, some have been here for more. It matters not whether your family came from England, Germany, Italy, Lebanon, Algeria, South Africa, India, China, Vietnam, Mauritius, Vanuatu, New Zealand or anywhere else. All are welcome here and all are or will be Australians.

I live in the country in New South Wales and guess what? People there come from the UK, Germany, Italy, Lebanon, Vietnam etc etc etc. I am currently living in Darwin and it is the same mix up here. All these people are Aussies.

The fair dinkum, true-blue cobbers are a thing of the past, a relic of the White Australia Policy which has been dead for forty years. We have a modern, multicultural society and are much better for it.

What are you talking about? If you're trying to be racist or something I don't really get it. But anyway think about this: What happened to Australia? All the aussies have taken the aboriginal's land and named it their own..
but if you're not trying to be a racist then whatever haha

You are either blind or racist. Sydney is stacked with Australians!
