I dont think so because the pill stops the egg from dropping to be fertalized.. so if it does anyhow and you get preggers then the pill shouldnt hurt it. but its an easy enought question for a doctor.

Since both of my pregnancies happened this way, and I have perfectly wonderful, normal daughters, I would say that the answer is NO.
For the first pregnancy, I went three months on the pill before I realized that I might actually be pregnant. You can imagine what a surprise THAT was. But I was only about a month pregnant the second time when I realized that it might have happened again (after the doctor ASSURED me that it wouldn't!).
I got this off the site below-----
What happens if you take birth control pills while you're pregnant?
If you continued taking your birth control pill because you didn't realize you were pregnant, don't be alarmed. Despite years of this accident happening, there's very little evidence that exposure to the hormones in birth control pills causes birth defects.
Still, the birth control pill is a potent estrogen. Lessons learned from women who took diethylstilbestrol — a synthetic estrogen that was later linked with cancer — to prevent miscarriage in early pregnancy suggest that such exposure should be minimized.
Once you learn that you're pregnant, stop taking the birth control pill.

I don't know a website - but this DID happen to me. I took a full month (atleast) of full strength pills before I found out I was pregnant. Once I officially missed my period and took a pregnancy test (which was positive) I stopped taking the Pills. The next month when I went to the doctor - they told me that when you are pregnant - your body produces the same hormones that are artificially put in your body by the Pill. Thus, there are just a lot of EXTRA hormones in your body - but nothing that will harm the baby.
Good luck!

Not very likely. I've never heard of anyone having any problems with thier babies...and many many people have gotten pregnant while taking the pill. You wouldnt be takin it long anyways, because most people will stop the pill when thier period doesnt arrive..you can get a pregnancy test at the dollar store now...so theres no reason to sit and wonder if you are or aren't.

I got pregnant on the pill and kept taking it for 6 weeks until I found out I was pregnant. I think most birth controls will tell you to stop using them if you are pregnant but you should really ask your doctor.

If you even think you might be pregnant you're supposed to stop taking the pill IMMEDIATELY. The morning after pill and the abortion pill have the same ingredients as the birth control pill...only in MUCH larger doses. I'm not saying that your baby IS hurt...I'm just saying that it is possible.

Apparantly it will not hurt the baby, but if you suspect you are pregnant you should stop taking it straight away and see your doc for a blood test to confirm the pregnancy.
Good luck!
