Honey!
There are several remedies around to help. ie. nose bands, chin bandage that goes around your chin over your head, Cpap I think it's called machine forces air into your lungs,a ball sewn into your PJS at the back to stop you lying on your back. However the main cure is to lose weight because overweight is usually the cause for this complaint. It's amazing that by losing say 20lbs 15kgs. how much less you'll snore and how much sleep everyone will get. If from adenoids enlarged then removal maybe the only way. See an ear nose and throat specialist to deal with it then. You can have an operation too to stop your tongue from blocking the airway.
Good luck sweet dreams Lynda.

Elevate the snorers hear with extra pillows, make them sleep on their side, not on their back, tell them to avoid alcohol in the evenings, and wear ear plugs (the victim, not the snorer). It helps to take a Sominex or other sleep aid before bedtime too (once again, the victim, not the snorer). I struggle with this problem and find that ear plugs and sleep aid help me since I don't want to sleep away from my man at night. Oh, and try running a fan in the room, the "white noise" keeps them quiet sometimes, I really don't know why. Good luck!

yes! first, you have to keep your nose clean. Before you go to sleep clean it with water and salt [salty water]. There is a plastic "machine" which will help you and you can find it in any pharmacy. Second thing you can do is to sleep on the side. Good luck :o)
