You`ve picked the lock on the liquor cabinet again , haven`t you Ernestine ?
Anyways , if you travel forward through time , do your thoughts go backwards ? i mean think how complicated it would be to digest all of your thoughts forward .
Make sense ? I thought not !

There is no definite answer for this question yet since no one can travel through time. But if there will ever be a time travelling device I think your thoughts can still go forward while your'e in the past.

one of the laws of thermodynamics state that it takes more energy to put something back into its previous state than it took to put it there. If you do something to your brain, you will need more energy to put it back in the future, which explains why we remember what was in the past and not the present. If you went backwards in time, i think your thoughts would go backwards as well, but im not sure.

if your travelling backwards in time then your thoughts would be neither going forward or backwards but would be in the present because going back in time is really being in the present of that certain time, thoughts don't have a time "clock" assosiated with them.

Very smart question! The only thing is that we can not go back in time! The second rule of thermodynamic is dictating that. Anyway in the universe there is no action 100% efficient. That is why we can not go back in time!

wow...i've never thought of that. but that is crazy...if you are sending your future self back in time, i would think you would have all your future thoughts. and you would also be able to see yourself.
