I have been a medical assistant for 16 years. I was in the wrong place at the wrong time. It resulted in a conviction on my record. Medical is all I know. I am very good at what I do,very loyal and a good employee. However as soon as they run your record. BOOM, your a criminal and they dont have room for you. If anyone knows ANYONE who recruits these kinds of situations, please let me know. I really want to get back into my passion, which is helping others. Thank you, Renee

I would suggest that you check with your state's unemployment office for I know that they probably have a program that hires individuals with blemished records. You might want to see what they have to say.
