Q: I have several rows of strawberry plants, but I don’t get very many strawberries. Some of these plants are 2-years-old and some are 3-years-old. Should I cut suckers off?
A: Strawberries send out runners, which you want to encourage. They should be mowed down this fall after a couple of good frosts.
