its where you offer a service, for say 2 hours, like housework or ironing, or an evening babysitting etc you offer something you can do and people bid for the service to raise funds for a charity

MY ART. It's about all I'm good at and all that I could offer. I've donated some before and people seem pleased to get my offer.
If you can give then you should try if it's for a good cause. Everybody needs to give back a little to a world in need.

I would volunteer a backrub, or failing that, 2 hours of protection from anyone wishing to harm you since I do that as a job also.
