When I worked in hospitality I used to be drunk every night because there were loads of cocktail bars in the place I worked and all the bar men were my mates - so free drinks.
I'm in an office now - have had a quick one during lunch - going a bit to my head.

Ed F, I used to get drunk at school - downing vodka and coke during break - can't drink vodka at all now - but most of the time I was stoned. Better to be drunk than stoned at school - get in less trouble.

haha! I put beer in my coffe mug one day and took it to work. Not a good idea. When the beer ran out and you start to get a hangover that sucks! Needless to say, I went home.
I worked at a staffing agency once that was on the floor above a brewery, I was a receptionist, my boss would buy beer and let us drink while we worked. I shouldn't of quit that job!

Yes. I guess it is OK to get drunk at an office party or something - but it is wrong to be drunk if you are supposed to be working.

NO! it's totally right - if you work from home.
but check with your boss, your company policy might be a bit more strict and only to allow you a couple of beers at lunch

For me, I'd have to say it depends on the kind of day you're having. If your co-workers are being jackholes to you all day long, they deserve to put up with you. However, in your case, I'd say no more drinks at lunch time, buddy.

depends on the job that you have to do...if you work in a hospital and have to take care of sick people, yeah, its wrong.....if you sit at a desk all day and don't have to interact with anyone or no one really depends on you for anything while you are at work, its okay
