They seem strict to us, but if you listen to a Muslim girl, she will never complain about the discrimination between men and women in her country. They are "educated" this way by their father and mother will always make them believe, even from young age, that boys are better than girls and have more rights and girls' aim in life is to get married and serve her husband because that is what religion says. But their religion says men and women are equal, they just interpret it the way their husbands, brothers and fathers want. It's a pity...they really think their life is perfect and people are envious on their happiness. But that's cause they never saw how a woman is treated in non-Muslim countries. Maybe they would feel the bitter taste of the unhappiness if they came to know about the woman's role in modern society.

nicely it somewhat is thoroughly incorrect to declare shariah regulation does not supply rights to ladies persons. It does supply women persons rights. It gave women persons rights 1400 years in the past that maximum western international places did not supply women persons a hundred years in the past. reality is that maximum muslim international places at the instant are not strict. maximum muslim international places do not even persist with shariah regulation in any respect. actual basically one does. i'm American born (4 generations) and moved to a muslim usa myself. I have not any much less rights right here than I did in u . s . a . nor does every physique else right here.

That's what I'd like to know. When I lived in the middle east 14 years ago, there were women being raped almost every day. There is a religion section in society and culture.

-X Muslim

I dont see it that way.

strict is a state of mind.
I'm an Asian girl(also a Muslim), and its not as bad as your hollywood movies describe our lifes as. I say that distance blurs your persfective and that if you lived here maybe you would envy us a bit.

I love my life. My country. my religion. no strings attached.
