When I go over toll bridges, I always pay for the person behind me too!
They always overtake me and toot and wave!
And I hope that they remember it and do the same to someone else!
Try it yourself! It brightens the day of two people, yours and a total strangers!

In the checkout line I always let mothers with young children go ahead.It seems that they are struggling with restless little ones, trying to unload the cart and hunt for their wallet. It may be only a small thing but it always brings a word of appreciation from the mother. I also let someone with 1-4 items ahead of me especially if I have a full cart.It is truly the little acts of kindness that make a difference. Talk to people in the line, it passes the time and helps to stop the shoppers getting angry at the cashier. Be kind, pass it on.It costs nothing to be kind.

I am meeting my best friend tonight for a movie & dinner. I am going to pay for dinner. She rarely goes out in the middle of the week and I want to surprise her.

i have a candle delivery for a friend of mine...i threw 2 dozen extra tealights in there (at no charge) for her just because she has been having a rough time.
