I grew up in a very old farm house. I swear it was haunted. Most people who would visit us often agreed. Lots of unexplainable things happened.
My sister and I shared a bedroom in which there were two twin beds- one for each of us. One night I was awakened by something pulling the blanket down to the floor. (We didn't have any pets.) I would tug the blanket back while it was persistently pulling. When the blanket was pulled to the floor, I got so scared. I jumped in my sister's bed.
Another incident that occurred there was outside in the corn field. My sister and I would run around back there and hide. I was hiding once and saw a man riding what looked like a horse while he carried a knife. I screamed and told my sister to run, run, run!!! We did but she said she didn't see anything. I DID! I can still recall both incidents as if they happened yesterday.
The house was torn down and now it remains the front yard for a newly built home. I wonder if they are experiencing anything "funny?"

On 2/12/05 I was hit from behind, I lost control of my SUV, went from one end of the freeway to the other, hit the median and survived w/o hitting any other cars during traffic hour. As my oldest daughter was taken out of the SUV I saw how limp she was, that was the worst feeling I ever had. She had passed out for a couple of minutes and only had a laceration to her eye lid. The person who hit me ran and was never found.

I was 15 or 16 and was home alone.. My mother's plant turned around... I found out later that the apartment was haunted. It is nothing like almost being kidnapped but it scared the crap out of me and I will never forget it..

Probably when my mom and sister were in a real bad accident. My sister had to be in a neck brace all summer. I was scared for her when I saw her in the ER and she was unconcious and cold to the touch. She was 16. She's 46 now.

A baboon grabbed me and tried to run away with me when I was about 2 or 3. I still remember it very clearly. My grandmother was the heroine, she threw a stone at him!

I have a few of them but the one that stands out right now was when my oldest quit breathing when he was only 1 week old. He's alive and well today but the thought still scares me.
