How do you get a nintendo event for pokemon emerald and leafgreen

easy
you need to wait for the actual nintendo company to host an event at a local store. they announce when they do that at http://www.pokemon.com
the last event they had was on september 30, 2006.
there are not going to be any other events for leaf green/fire red. neither will they have any more for emerald/ruby/ sapphire.
another thing is that these nintendo events only happen in USA and Japan. read my source link to learn more
there is NOTHING that you can do, with only the game, to make these things happen.

You don't "get" a Nintendo Event. >.> Nintendo hosts one at like, a local mall or something. Anyways, I believe you're out of date, have you heard of Diamond and Pearl? Nintendo will not be having any more events for the GBA games, they'll now be moving on to the DS iterations.

There is not an event for Shaymin and Arceus, but there will be an event for Darkrai at the end of the week at a Toys R Us near you. They will be giving them out for free.

there was 1 last year for mew in the summer and there hasn't been 1 since so u missed it with pokemon diamond & pearl just relased i don't think their going 2 be back tracking 2 leaf green & emerald events.
