I am not sure what the title is, or who sings it.... i know that it is PRETTY recent, within 1 to 2 years out. The Chorus goes as follows "Say a prayer for me" and echos a second time, but where ever i look, on which ever site i visit, (myspace, MTV, even Yahoo), i come with nothing but dead ends....i was told prior that name name of the band was "Gooch", or Gootch" or that word, however spelt, also came up empty handed.....thanks for the help....

Are you talking about the Duran Duran song "Say a Prayer?" - the video for that song was filmed in Sri Lanka and features several statues, etc.

Nothing wrong with 80s hair band ( Van halen, Pantera , Quite Riot, Snider and twisted sister, Skid Row, Ratt , Bon Jovi, Cindarella, Saxon, Dokken, Def Lepard.......) I don't like poison though for some reason or another.

Am I nuts or you are talking about Duran Duran´s
"Dont say a prayer for me now...
save it to the morning after..."
it´s like 20 years old.
Maybe someone re-recorded..

It's "Say a Little Prayer for You", sung by Dionne Warwick. I don't think a band's ever released it.

Maybe you are thinking of the Carrie Underwood song? Don't forget to remember me. Good luck with your search.
