When you're leaving one point, fill your car to the top with fuel. Take a reading of the mileage, then drive to the other point and fill up again to the top. Note the amount of fuel used and the mileage again.
Divide the distance in miles by the fuel used in gallons to get mpg, or divide the fuel used in litres by the distance in kilometres multiplied by 100 to get litres per 100 kilometres.

To do this take your miles that you have driven divided by the gallons of fuel that you put in when you fill your car. This will give you amount that you are using.

if you know your mpg allready do a mapquest point to point take the milage drive estimate use that to get an aprox on how much fuel youl need
