I just wanted to know if anyone knew how i could check to see if my money notes are real. I know if you can`t see the number on the note its not real but is there a place ( bank etc ) to check if the notes are real? Someone is paying me and i need to know if the money they are giving me is real.

The US Treasury website will show you how to spot a counterfeit...good luck...you can also take the bills to your bank. They can tell you. There is also a pen you can buy that you mark bills with. if the ink dries clear or yellow, it is a good note...if it dries black, it is a fake.

My personal favorite method for counterfeit detection is a UV (Black) light. For US notes, the mylar thread glows under UV light, and each denomination glows a different color. This also works for the majority of world banknotes, also.
Around here, a lot of fast food restaurants and currency exchanges have black lights that they use for this purpose.
