Yes, I do believe that every thing does happen for a reason, so that we are just where we are suppose to be at the moment that we are there. I think that the events in our lives are laid out for us just waiting for us to discover them.

I've had way too many things happen to me in my 50 years that have made me see that every thing happens for a reason. One change bring about another change that could never have had happened if the one hadn't happened. But it's the way that they happen that make me take notice. It's like you'll be just thinking about some thing and all of a sudden it hits you and you just can not deny what you know is true. It's totally amazing how it works.

I think that it's a matter of taking a look back into our lives and that is usually when we happen to see some of the things that have happened to us. That is usually when you end up shaking your head and saying how did that ever happen or turn out like it did. I have not always seen it right at the moment that it does happen it is often way after the fact. Of course we have free will and I am even including that in this, we make choices but it is the when and the where we make them that often leads to the head shake you head.

Look at the 911 thing, some of the people who were suppose to be at work or some that were suppose to be on the airplanes, and these people for one reason or another were not were they were suppose to be at the time they were suppose to be there. Or were they right where they were suppose to be?? And that is why they are alive today, Personally I can not call it. Can you?? Certain events caused them to not be where they were suppose to be at the time they were suppose to be there. Or again were they right where they were suppose to be?

I don't... I believe in things "just happening". Come on, "everything"? There's just too much in this vast universe for it all to be happening completely co-ordinated. That would make the alluded to "grand scheme" even vaster than the totality of the universe and that would be impossible.

Now, probably about 50 percent of the population holds the belief that everything does happen for a reason, but then that might be the 50 percent that falls below the average intelligence demarcation.

Everything happens does not necessarily carries any reason . Reason as it is put here is a precursor to happening . Let us put this way-Everything happens for a Goal. Without purpose of achievement or fulfilling a task, a happening is termed as Destiny. I would rather believe in the fact that a certain thing happened because I wanted to achieve the result and not for any poor cousin-Destiny.And, Co-incidence is an unexplainable phenomenon. You cannot mix reason and co-incidence

Everything in this world happens for a reason, this is as true as is my reason of answering your question – you have your own reason asking, but I have my own reason answering, two reason however originating from two various independent sources come together to form a happening in time.

If you stand under an apple tree and an apple fall on your head then you would realised, after a momentary laps into purely your personal response, that that apple had a perfect reason to fall, as perfect as that of the apple tree in ripening that apple and then letting it go. Why has the apple fallen on your head has nothing to do with you – it was never meant for this purpose and at the same time it was never meant to avoid any such happening.

Things happen in this world and all physical things are chained in reality by laws of cause and effect – reasons behind one things happening contribute to the reason of something else happening. But the question to consider however is, does the reason of something happening contribute to the purpose of something else? I can see that there are many clever and intelligent people around me, they do most things for the sake of one or the other reason, but do their reason benefit my purposes. It is possible that someone does something very smart and intelligent only bring chaos and disruption into my life, or on the other hand I could come across someone quite accidentally to change m life for good.

This world is full of purposes, and many of them are quite indifferently to ours, some of them are against our purposes but some of them are in harmony with our purpose. There can be gaps or vacuums around where there is no vested interest, not strong purpose but there is nowhere in this world that is without reason.

Yes. Every experience has something to teach you.

Many people settle & marry the wrong person but there can still be valuable lessons learned & something worthwhile that comes out of the relationship.

Each of us has a destiny, something we're meant for. Happiness comes from following your dreams. Sometimes you get lost along the way. You deny your dreams & make bad choices. But even these detours are a valuable part of your life. No experience is wasted. It all helps to shape who you are.

You may find reasons, or you might not. Life itself is pretty unreasonable, yet here we are. If it will make it all seem more special if life seems to notice you, so be it, but consider the consequences of such an assumption:

At some level, at minimum, something other than chance or choice interferes with our lives, directing our attention, or manipulating conditions so as to guide our decisions or behaviour in a planned direction, to manipulate our lives, albeit understood for positive reasons. This implies a believe in some force with the power or ability and desire to do this, a supernatural being so complex as to be aware and in control of all that ever happens, at all levels at all times, with the knowledge of exactly what any intervention will result in.

For this to happen, we cannot be free in our choices, as true freedom means not even this all powerful, all knowing being can foresee our choices. You may argue that we are more predictable than we think, and though we are free, it is pretty easy for such an impressive being to foretell our choices, based upon his knowledge of who we are. There is just one problem with this scenario for those that suppose this being to be well-meaning, and that is the problem of evil. If such a being exists with such power, why would he bother finding you the right spouse as others are being raped, murdered, tortured or ill and dying?

Sure, such a being is possible, as is Santa and Peter Pan, yet completely unnecessary.

Yes, definately, whether it seems good or bad, it all happens to you for a reason - even if it may not seem like it at the time.

I failed to get into my first choice college 12 years ago and I was really upset about it. My more told me that the reason I didn't get a place was because I wasn't meant to so I went to my second choice college and there I met all the people that helped me along the road to the very sucessful career that I have now.

Everything happens for a reason. The universe has it's way of manipulating its own enigma. It rains because the clouds are heavily condensed with water vapor; the wild boar goes camouflage while hunting for its prey at the dawn of each day.

To marry who you are 'meant' to marry , or to break up with someone is another thing. This task is carried out by our our human reason, and it just doesn't happen, we act upon it, and we decide upon it..

Thought, desire and action are the creative process in man. Cause & effect. I don't know that i would call in a reason but i would say there is cause for all things. There is no such thing as luck. There is no such thing as Accidently. There is no such thing as being in the right or worng place at the right or wrong time. Maybe, I suppose,it could be,i guess these words have no place in truth.

No. Not at all. I do not believe that there is a predetermined "right" thing for any of us. We have the power and the free will in any given moment to make the decisions to change our lives and our "paths". The only thing that is predestined for any of us is the death of this physical existence. Beyond that, it's all in our hands. We attract all of our experiences into our existence and we have the power to determine whether those experiences will be positive or negative with the vibrations we emit in each moment. I choose positivity and love.

Best wishes!
