Who says you can't? If napping in the afternoon affects your relationships or the people that you live with or your normal sleeping pattern. ie you are asleep all afternoon and awake all night driving your spouse/family up the wall. or you are sleeping during the day to avoid intimacy at night with a partner, it may be a symptom of a bigger upset in your life.
If you are finding yourself unusually tired and lethargic it might be worth a medical check up to see if you are anaemic or something.
It is also important to get a healthy balance of work and exercise but if none of the above applies and all the rest of you life is running smoothly then who cares just keep kipping.

Of course you are, the new trend is for power napping in an afternoon, a 15 minuet nap is supposed to revive and charge your batteries and its aimed at those of us over 30.

That does not define laziness. Laziness is someone who sits around the house doing NOTHING. If you have a productive/contructive life and you work for your money...etc, then you deserve a nap and 'me' time in order to recharge and rest.

Taking a nap is healthy. Other countries have breaks or naps three or so times a day. It doesn't matter how old you are. We should take a lesson from them.

Yes - you obviously feel like you need it - you'll feel much better afterwards. Just ten minutes closing your eyes can make a difference sometimes. I should have a kip too as I have a headache that wont go away.

Power naps are refreshing. Anything longer and you need a good reason.
