Mom and Dad. My neighbor, who is 47, says Mommy and Daddy. Gee, and I wonder why she's not married? Hmmmm.

Dead. Unfortunately.
Mostly is WAS Mom and Dad but we used to call Mom Mommy to tease her and Dad was often Pop. My Dad used to say I could put three syllables in Dad when I would drag it out.

I have always called my mom "maman" and my dad "papa" as I am a French speaker from birth (first language) and was raised using the French language.
My brother has called our father by his first name for many years though, not as a sign of respect but rather to keep a constant emotional distance from him.
Needless to say (but I'm going to say it regardless), they do not get along!
Sad but true...

I call mine long distance.
Just kidding. Mom and dad, even though I don't have a great relationship with my father I still call him dad. Habit I guess.
