yes with your feet down definitely...............and just when you are about to reach the ground, bend in your knees to your stomach as much as possible. I learnt it in physics that it puts a whole lesser pressure on your bones and can actually save you from some serious orthopaedic injuries on your femur and tibial bones due to the body weight.

i dont know, it depends on how you weight. The heavier you are the more injury it'll cost you, landing on your hands and feet like a cat is not at all a very good idea. Might as well dont climb that tree.

Im not so good at falling, or landing, i certainly wouldnt call myself an expert but im pretty sure you should roll when you land. And bend your knees

aviod sticking out your hands to catch you, that's how i shattered my wrist. Aviod landing on your head too, got staples from that. Really you best bet would be on the booty
