when i dirve my aprilla sr50 scooter and go over something on the road even though it might be really small, like uneven ground are something my scooter slows away down and stops, so i have to pull over to the side of the road and wait for a while and then it works and i can drive away as if nothing happened, can someone tell me whats wrong with it and why it does that plz?

I would suspect dirt in the carburetor. The fuel gets sucked up through a small hole called a jet. Dirt settles in the bottom of the fuel bowl. Hitting a bump disturbs the dirt which then gets sucked up blocking the jet.Leaving it to stand allows the dirt to settle back down, ready for the next bump. Cleaning out the float bowl will cure it if that is the problem

If your SR50 has the DiTech fuel injection you don't have to worry about any carb problems. Just for the heck of it check to make sure your battery connections are tight !!!!

Sticking floats. Clean/check the carburetor.
When you hit a bump, the floats bump up and don't return right away, restricting fuel flow to the carb.
