Well, let me think now. Humm, I have been ridden by a horse rider, a female mechanic has adjusted my nuts, chicken rearing lady farmer has laid me, a bank clerk took my deposit, a courier took my package, a lady cab driver took me all the way etc, etc. I have to say a builder has never shafted me but she did provide some openings for me.

Yes. Well, by a roofer anyway. He is currently working just around the corner from my house and I am so tempted to go round and give him a piece of my mind but I doubt whether that will get the work he did that needs repairing done.
I suppose I could always go and knock on the door of the house he is currently working on and tell the owners exactly what a cowboy he is !!

No but i've been shafted by a Plumber, he said he repaired a dripping over flow, charged me £70 and then pi**ed off. the overflow was still dripping and my brother-in-law mended it with a £5.00 fitting from B & Q.

I stopped being self-emplyed because a builder wouldn't pay us the £12k he owed - so yes, and the courts didn't help us other than costing another £4k to recover £3K
