I read an article and I did not understand the following:

Anyone sitting on the planet would get heavier quickly, and birthdays would add up fast since it orbits its star every 13 days.
Why is that?

+ how long would it take to get to this planet?

It takes the Earth 365 days to orbit the sun. Us humans use this to calculate time. If we lived on this other planet one year or one orbit would only be 13 days.
And this other planet's gravity is different than the Earth's. That is why we would feel heavier on the other planet.

Gravity is over twice what it is on earth and it orbits the sun every 13 days. If you jumped in the shuttle and went to the planet, it would take a little over 800,000 years to get there.
