There's nothing that ruins a sports movie more than when something completely unrealistic happens. For example, when Cuba Gooding Jr. catches a pass in Jerry McGuire, he gets upended by two players, lands on his head, blacks out, but still holds on to the ball for a touchdown! What a load of horse manure!

My question to you, is what other unrealistic moments are there in sports movies?

Umm...I'm not talking about ghosts as unrealistic events. I'm more interested in sports action that was unrealistically filmed.

For me it was in the movie with Robin Williams and Kurt Russell. At the end of the movie, Robin's character Jack is trying to catch the ball and he seriously fumbles it in every single way possible and yet still manages to get a hold of it, while running, to make a touchdown.

Name of the movie: The Best of Times.

The rest of the movie was totally hysterical.

The Natural. When he hits the ball up into the lights and they
explode like fireworks. Can't happen!
