Dreams often come to us in symbolic form as a message / messenger. It is like a subconscious radio station broadcasting to you telling you of something important. the fact that you have a recurring image in this dream - (in jail twice) may mean that there is an unaddressed or unresolved matter requiring your attention. You may also need to really connect with your daughter - subconsciously you may be picking up on something - either verbally or non-verbally or both - is communicating to you in daily waking life. You have not indicated if you've been having problems in your relationship lately. You may be unaware of the fact that there is a problem. So the best advice? Talk - communicate with her. She will let you know if something is driving you apart...

Dreams are often more symbolic than literal. Perhaps the dream has to do with a separation of some sort in your life (happening now, or coming up) or a time where you're going to be "trapped" and unable to spend much time with your child...perhaps work is going to have you busy up to your eyeballs or you will have to take a trip away for a while or some kind of activity will have you in a position where time with her will be seriously limited...

One possible option...

You are feeling your daughter and you are separating, and you would like to be closer to her because she is little and needs you, but you don't find the way and feel a prisoner, of your job maybe.

Just be there for her, and make her feel mommy loves her even when mommy is not home, spend quality of time with her whenever you can...

For some reason.... your life is our of control right now. Look around and see where the problems are, and ask yourself why you feel helpless.
