UNFORTUNATELY south africa applauds mediocrity so smith wont be fired

Must do that.. because it is the nature of the WC 2007...

Pakistan - Inzi...quit ODIs & Captancy (Coach Died)
West Indies - Lara...quit ODIs & Captansy (Coach rerired)
India - Captain still there but lots of changes within the team (Coach sacked)
New Zeland - Fleming...quit from Captancy
England - Vaughan in trouble..may be same story as an other losing captains
Australia - Ponting remains as a captain
South Africa - will see after todays match, if they make to final will see after finals

Sri Lanka - Mahela and the rest of the team will lift the WCup 2007

Don't be defeatist! They might very well win..We Aussies don't underestimate the SA side. They have after all chased down that huge total a while back so have proven capable.
Naturally I hope they lose and if so its quite possible Smith will fall on his sword and resign the captaincy.
May it prove a good game!

Smith is not at al bad, he is starting to play a good game. BUT I would say dump Kallis, he seems to freeze up whenever we play the Aussies. I was shocked that SL beat NZ. So lots can happen. Have faith

Greame smith hasn't proved to be the captain of the team,he is in poor form. But he's too young to retire but he might resign his captaincy

I do not think he will retire on his own as he is very young.
