It can play a huge role in getting through the ups and downs in life. If you can control your mind and not let the world and the stresses get to you, you will have a much more peaceful life. It is usually easier said than done but with practice, it gets easier to use mind over matter.

Have you ever heard the saying, "Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you deal with it"? That is so true. I don't know how old (or young) you are, but I've learned this the hard way throughout many situations. We all have to go through the MUD in life...nobody can escape it. How you get through it is up to you. I'm not attempting to blow sunshine up your *SS or anything; we'll all have those days and times where we just want to cry and tell everybody to go screw theirself. That's totally okay. A major idea I always tell myself is IF YOU CAN LEARN TO LAUGH AT IT, YOU CAN LEARN TO LIVE WITH IT. There's a bit of humor in every tragedy.

Mind over matter is everything !! It is our self control, our manners. If you did whatever you were immediately inclined to do.... We would yell in church, scratch privates in public, say whatever came to our minds without regard for other feelings.....

It does a lot!!! If you are not confident about what you are doing then you probably won't succeed. Why are you just asking questions to ask questions. It is so unneccessary to ask questions you know the answer to.
