We some times consult our parents, relatives or friends when we are beset with problems. Is it advisable? or any other way to tackle the problems?

I fully believe in the idea that "You don't have to learn EVERYTHING the hard way!" So, I say use other people's experiences to gain a wider understanding of a situation. Second, we all have a build in sense of which is the right direction. The tricky part with that is that lots of people have not been taught to listen to that inner voice.

There's not an easy answer because every situation is different, but it's smart to use all the resources available. No matter what, everyone has to learn some things the hard way. But why not use everything to your advantage? Then, when you're the one with the life experiences to share, it's a good idea to pass what you know to the next generation.

Cheers!

I think it best to get advice from several sources then make a conclusion based on your favor. At the end of the day you make your own decision but I think conciously it feels better to ask the advise of others

I think it helps a lot to have people you trust to talk about things with and important decisions we make. Sometimes we get caught up in one thought and can't get past it, so family and friends can often help us work through our problems and give us new insight into them and new ideas to handle things.

ive always been pretty stubborn, rebellious, and self-reliant, so i dont turn to others for advice very often, altho im starting to learn to try

i think w/o knowing specifics its tough to say, but sometimes its best to just go at it yourself and see where it gets you.. it may make things tougher, and you may end up needing to look to someone else, but if you can work through it urself i think you would gain more from it

I LIKE TO TRY AND TACKLE THE PROBLEMS MY SELF FIRST, IT GIVES ME A SENSE OF ACCOMPLISHMENT. BUT IF I CANT DO IT ON MY OWN, I WOULD HAVE TO GO TO MY ONE AND ONLY BEST RESOURCE, MY HUBBY.
