Yes there is. Although he is not my husband, he is my best friend and my soul mate. Because we are with different people now, and we don't want to hurt them, we only get to see each other every once in a blue moon. (Before you flip out, we've never been unfaithful to our spouses.......unless you consider the actual meeting as cheating.)
But let me tell you this.....when that blue moon does happen, we are oblivious to everybody and everything around us. We are like two sponges; soaking up every word, every sound, every touch, every smell, every glance. And then we carry that with us until next time. Unfortunately though, he has been diagnosed with cancer and so we never know if there will be a next time for us.
