If there was ANY possiblity that Pelosi could be prosecuted for ANY thing, the Bush administration, which controls the Justice Dept. more tightly than any administration ever has, would have started the wheels in motion. The Bushies fired 8 US Attorneys who would not comply with their requests to prosecute Democratic politicians. This means of course, that the US Attorneys (federal prosecutors) now in office would not hesitate to file charges against a Democrat if there was just a "bit of evidence".

The simple fact that the axis of evil - Bush, Cheney and Rove have not politically crucified her is enough proof for me. That kind of opposition to the Bush agenda is normally squashed as soon as possible. If they had the slightest inkling of illegal activity or proof of impropriety, she would have already been sacrificed on the altar for the Iraq war.
