WHat's the difference betweeen the intro and the conclusion parts of a research paper when both are just summarizations of the body?

I took a writing course once and I learned a good format for writing reports, research papers, etc.

1. The introduction tells your reading audience what you are going to tell them.

2. In the main body of the report, tell them in detail.

3. Finally in the conclusion, tell them in summary what you just told them in the detail.

Now to answer your question, I don't think there is a lot of difference between the intro and summary. As the writer, you have to determine the style of each section. You certainly wouldn't want them to be exactly the same.

Good luck.

With a conclusion you want to seem like you want the reader to do something.
Lets say that you were writing a research paper about animal euthanasia. Your conclusion would be something like this "animals should not be killed. we should go out and find homes for the animals in our local shelter"
See my point?

I in basic terms did a paper on the discovery and early ranges of baseball, it replaced into truly truly relaxing and that i replaced into waiting to do my paintings because i'm attracted to baseball. I dont recognize if you're yet thats in basic terms my theory. ok possibly no longer relaxing, cuz it truly is a study paper. even if it replaced into the most relaxing topic i ought to imagine and it didnt get boring
