I believe that is a built in mechanism and is sometimes done with out us realizing it. Purposely I at times have built walls to protect me emotionally. To coin an old phrase. "don't wear your emotions on your sleeve".

Yes and they are still up so high that no person will ever have a chance of getting over those walls.

Yes, every once in a while I've allowed people to chip away at them. I once let someone completely tear them down and my heart got broken...I'm more careful now.

yes, but i ran out of supplies so i went to the Home Depot and it wasn't on sale anymore so i stopped building and left my back door open.... ;)
