I have never had good lentil soup :(
I make my own chicken soup.
Cook down a chicken, then add the meat to the broth, toss bones and fat. Add in fresh carrots, celery. The secret is FRESH oregano and a little parsley.
Then I add good egg noodles.
Yum!

Out of a tin it is lentil. Home made it is Chicken Broth (I make a mean broth and don't mind admitting it either)

Sounds good. I like a beef and winter vegetable soup with cabbage in it. My ex's grandmother used to make it. Love it with crusty bread.
