I once threw a glass at my husband causing it to put a severe gash in the back of his head, making him bleed all over and leaving a permenant scar. Needless to say, I have learned my lesson about controlling my rage and anger, because I could have easily lost my husband that night, but for some reason he stayed with me, and I havent thrown anything at him since then, dont make the same mistake I did, learn your lesson before something bad happens.

Yes!!! In my first marriage I threw a very large & heavy centerpiece candle at my husband. It hit him in the knee. Usually he was the jerk...this time I surprised him. He didn't know what to say. He grabbed his knee at SHUT UP! Needless to say we didn't argue about that subject again. I guess he decided I had the final word. It wasn't the right thing to do. I knew it when I did it. I don't recommend violence. He and I divorced. Not a big surprise. I am not a easily angered person. I knew that I couldn't be with someone that upset me enough that I could not control my temper and actions. If you are like me get out. If you know you have anger problems get help before you find that violence becomes a normal reactions to your disputes. I am happily married now and have been for 8 years. This time no violence at all. My x on the other hand. Well, we can still be friendly but he doesn't try to make me mad. He figured out where the boundries lie.

I sure did and this was only last December, when I found out that he was having an affair. I felt so betrayed that I threw a few of my exercise dumb bell to him, then I smacked his face a few times, hit his chest with me feast and kicked his balls. His reaction?? well after 22 long years he didn't know that I can fight like a man and his 6' feet tall and weight 210 lbs while I am 5'6 and 123 lbs. It did help being a martial art since I was 5 years old.

I love the double standard women have about these things. If a man did half of the rude, abusive or violent things 'courageous' women do (like pour a drink over her head in a bar if the conversation wasn't to his liking) - it wouldn't end up being used as a funny scene in a TV commercial that's for sure!

Yes.. whatever it was it was the closest thing to me. Normally it is my cell phone and we have been through quite a few of them between the two of us. I think we both know that hurts us the most (financially) because they are expensive to replace!

He always teases me that I like to throw things. It has been quite a while since anything has gotten that far! Now we just ignore each other if we are upset. Just acting like we are going to throw a cell phone gets us both to calm down quick!

I have thrown a few things at him, like a bottle of orange juice, his mobile phone and - dont call the police but - also a hammer.... He wasnt too upset, just surprised that i did that. He realised he was wrong, which he always is. He shouldnt have provoked me

I threw a fit once because he forgot our anniversary...he thought it was the next day, and he just had the dates confused. Irregardless, I was still really p'od that he forgot.....but he made up to me with jewelry. Diamonds keep a girl from holding a grudge for long.

All women had always been doing with that because it had any cause. And all men should accept with that but sometimes men run out from furious women. Anyway!

Violence is a two edge sword.

Would the question be amusing if asked if any man had thrown anything at his wife when he was mad and what it was?

If you are that mad you should walk away.

Yes- A big platform shoe in the early 70's. It missed him, hit the wall and made a hole in the wall. He thought it was funny. I am sorry it missed him.
