Yes but this time we have to make sure that we don't mess it up like we did with this earth. Nothing industrial no houses. we should stay in huts built from wood and we only eat stuff which is off abundance and we make sure we don't mess with the environment. We already messed up our planet maby we will have a second chance. of course we will have to restrict our population otherwise the same thing will happen here. say about 1000 people at the most.

Mizza asked a question a couple of day's ago about why were there so many Dave's in the world, and I said it was because they were coming from a planet called Dave World.
I was right, and now the scientists have found it!
So no I will not be heading off there anytime soon, if ever.

As I am over 60 years old and this planet is over 20 light years away I think it would be rather a waste of time. However, if there were any transport system that could get me there in my lifetime I would be first in the queue to get my ticket.

No, because that planet is highly unlikely to be of any use to me.
The term 'Earth-like' is bandied about too much by the media without them actually understanding what it means. It is Earthlike in that it is made of rock. That's about it. It has a much higher gravity, is probably tidally locked to its star so only one side ever sees it while the other is in constant darkness, and we don't even know what its atmosphere is made of yet.

No sorry, I've got to go to the dentist next week.
Hey does anyone have a spare camera we could send? I'm sure a camera won't mind becoming ET's lunch. Hmmm...I wonder, film or digital? :)
In all seriousness, if it was practical I most definitely would. I am quite eager to learn more of this planet.

Going on a one-way trip to a planet that is out of our reach? Sounds like a great plan!

800, 000 years away? Gravity 5 times that of Earth? I don't think so.

No, there may be some sci-fi freakish life form lurking there, like the one from that film Alien, Predator or Species.
