Each NASA launch is timed accurately to coincide with the shuttle entry... and given the world is rotating..
Whose space and which part of the Country does it hurtle through the Earth's atmosphere?
Is each entry damaging our protective ozone layer.. something akin to a slow puncture on a car tyre..?

I DO realise that people are not actually hunkering down under thier tables wearing tin hat incase the shuttle lands on them !! DUH !
My point, badly put obviously, was that which ever country the shuttle passed thru the Earth atmosphere to return home is having it's little bit of protective layer weakened - as I said - like a slow puncture in a tyre !!
