I have an unfounded fear of melons! The sight, smell or thought of them makes my skin crawl, i break out in a cold sweat and start to gag!

I don't have any weird phobias but a few years ago I read all about some of the more bizarre ones and my cousin and I would pretend to be terrified of string!! Was hilarious. Fear of string is called Linonophobia.

Im terrified of worms....OMG just thinking about them has made my skin crawl and Im gagging!!
Thing is, Im not scared at all of snakes and have held several...strange huh xx
Just thought, I also HATE people witrh abnormally small hands! On Sunday at the London Marathon (was watching on the TV) someone was talking to Jeremy Beadle and he waved about his *gag* tiny hand and *heave* man its too much, am really gagging!!!xx

I have a very weird phobia, one you may have never heard of before. Its a little embarrassing to talk about but here it goes.
I have Anatidaeophobia. Which means that no matter where I go on a day to day basis I have this fear that somewhere, somehow there is a duck always watching me...

Sponges! But only the artificial ones, i don't mind the natural ones. It's the feel of them - it makes my blood go cold and I want to gag! Similar thing with carpets, I can't touch them with my hands. And as for my dog licking the carpet.... ARGH !!!!

I have a phobia of cotton wool, I've no idea why, but I can't even bear to think about it let alone look at it, touch it or even have it in the house.

I suppose it's not the weirdest, but I HATE clowns. Not too sure if I'm afraid of them, or if it's just an intense disliking; but I just can't stand the sight of them!

my phobia are night moths...I hate the nasty buggers, especially in my bedroom during the summer when I open the window and they get in around the light.
i heard someone having a phobia of tomatoes...this was way too weird, like yours one of the melons...(sorry) but it made me chuckle :)

My friend is terrified of cheese. One time a girl threw a piece in her face and she screamed on the top of her voice and burst into tears, and began washing her face frantically and being sick.

No thankfully, god that must be terrible for you, I just have a phobia of rats so guess that's a normal one.
