if you mean how do I find out where an email comes from?
find the properties of the email sometimes you just have to right lick the email and in the properties you will need to determine the originating IP address and then put that address in a reverse IP Lookup site (just google Reverse Ip Lookup)

hi,
email has 2 main part, ie: header and body.
header consist of the path of email transfer sequence, from one server to another.
basically, u need to see the source of the email.
