I'm guessing that you are asking about work hours in the 19th century. Even so that is difficult to define. First you have to define what type of industry you are talking about. Those who worked in the farm industry had very different hours as compared to others working in the steel industry, or fishing industry, or construction industry.

You should also factor in the fact that there were industries and periods where it was more common to have young people working (such as farming, mill work etc.)

However, in general it is fair to state that during the 19th century work hours were commonly longer than today. Hours of 60 to 80 hours per week with the number of weekly work days more common as 6 to 7.
