They have to make reasonable efforts to do so, but there are many matters "beyond their reasonable control" . Traffic, diversions etc.. If the bus just doesn't turn up because the company can't be bothered to send it, they'll find themselves explaining to the Traffic Commissioners. In extremis, they can find themselves losing their licence.

goverment or bosses?? in Australia its 12 hrs on best with 12 hrs off yeah right! can't earn a decent wage with that ruling
got job as freight manager /driver and the hours can and will make your hair stand up!
