With people... because they have never really understood exactly what the problem was or where the other person was coming from, from the start.. And firmly believe if they persevere there will be a change of mind, or just stubbornly think they can fix anything eventually.

Because some people just need that closure.....some people believe that everything is fixable and some people just want to help....there are different reasons, but they all stem for the feeling of hope, that no matter what anyone else says, they know (or at least they think they know) they can fix it.

It sounds like either way he will just want sex from you, and perhaps you could find a much better guy. If you want to try anyway, explain to him that you want to go slower in the relationship than those texts may have lead him to think. Tell him if he likes you you would love to get to know him better as a person, and if he turns you down then he is not worth your time. Hope I could help and good luck!

Two reasons: 1. Because if we don't try at all, than everything just stays broken. 2. Because miracles do happen. We aren't supposed to be able to go to the moon or to fly an airplane through the air, yet those things are now commonplace. It is in our nature to try, and fail, and yet try again. Our stubborness is one of our best qualities!

Some people believe they can conquer anything sweet Blue! When they notice something not working they just keep trying and trying with some other method. Stubbornness, it is a traite I exhibit as well from time to time!

We flounder around and try and make sense of our lives, hoping against hope that we are in control. It's a last ditch effort to get a handle on the runaway roller coaster called life. It is of no consequence, of course, and we might as well find ourselves constantly circling in a round room trying to pee in the corner.

Humans have this desire to over power and over come strife in life. It is an insanity....we keep trying to fix the unfixable and keep getting the same results as we keep trying anyway.

Tell them "the Serenity Prayer".

"Lord, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The courage to change the things I can,
And the wisdom to know the difference."
