i will just say, "no offense but this is something i dont feel comfortable to share with." i dont care what they think, or how they feel about it. it is nobody's business to ask, and if they discredit you over it, fine, its their problem that they cant handle the truthful answer. they dont even care how you would feel about that kind of question, so why should you?

I never understood what the problem was about giving your age...Just tell them...Why would that be a problem? And I'm 49 (50 in Nov. ) by the way..Gonna have a BIG PARTY....

Be sincere in order to avoid the later nagging. Express that you dont feel its relevent or important in the relationship you have with them and would really rather keep that info to yourself as you find it personal and private. Unless this is someone you're invoved with that should help.

Ive seen someone do this & it works most of the time.
She asks what will the person do if she tells ... they say anything (most of the time!!) and she says
Shut up abt asking my age.
And when the person says ok... now tell me ur age.. she goes like... deal's gone, buddy!!
Most of the time, Im like... figure it out, hot shot!!!

Pink Hippo is so smart when it comes to answering questions. Now, what will I say? I guess I will tell you how I handle it. It doesn't bother me to tell my age so I just tell them.

I ask them to guess. And when they guess I say yes. Technically I haven't told them how old I am.
