I don't think so. They are just like those emails everybody gets that can tell your personality. If you look at all the answers, they are almost the same, the words are just turned around.

Sometimes your horoscope can be accurate, but that is pure coincidence. I have always wondered if they recycle them from years back.

They are entertaining though, especially when you read others their horoscope and bug them about what they say.

Your horoscope or your birth chart is the map of the sky at the time of your birth, so it actually tells you the celestial coordinates you have chosen to incarnate in, which means your inner coordinates as well. Because as they say, as within so without, as above, so below.

Few things are fixed in life other than those foretold by the stars at your birth time, and they are you important life events which will unfold your important life lessons.

You can know your fate through your horoscope read by a good astrologer, but what you do with your fate, or your life experiences creates your destiny.

After all, it is your freewill that reigns supreme in any case.

Now it is up to us how we use an horoscope, diagnostic astrology is its best use, if need be, and predictive astrology is its worst, as nothing is fixed in the future, as we have our freewill, and it dis-empowers us.

It can help us understand ourselves, our temperament, our weakness and strengths, and when we know ourselves better, don’t our life choices become easy?

So the only way a horoscope works is when we use it wisely, that is to know ourselves and our stars better.

I think it works if you believe in it and I mean really believe in it. If you don't believe in it, there is no chance for it to work also because you just don't want to see first, but not that it is really accurate. Yes it's general most of the time, but sometimes if they write good stuff, it gives you couragement and confidence to have a great day. However if it is a bad one for that day, usually people will just ignore it yea? hehehe but as long as it makes people's day a better day, I would say it works.

Horoscope is way too general. It is not specific. If you want accuracy, go for eastern astrology like those from India and China. They can pinpoint your life before and after.

Horoscopes work only because they are very general statements. People naturally interpret them to fit their life.
