George Bush used dead American soldiers for political purposes. Do you have any thoughts on that? Why was the simple truth not good enough?

This link works better. You can watch the video of Kevin Tillman from it. Also that of Jessica Lynch.

I think most of you are not watching the Kevin Tillman video. That is the link I intended to put up first. You get to it through this second link.

To Mr. White_whatevernonsense_isinyyourhandle
I have served and after you've spent 60 seconds with me, you would without a doubt be retracting your pantiewaste statement. The issue is this lying conniving honorless President we have and his administration.

First of all, thank you for that link. Secondly, the fact that in the testimony he states the correlation of the Tillman conspiracy in order to hide the administrations implementation of torture was right on point and this is what the hate radio media(bortz, rush, limbaugh) will try to distract the public from. This is just one of many reasons to have this president and the entire administration impeached.

The Tillman thing was despicable. I mean, I understand wanting to not devastate the family, but they were entitled to the truth, as were all his friends, and the general public.
As far as Jessica Lynch, that story got out of hand. If I remember correctly, she was the only survivor of her convoy, so there was no one else to correct the story until she was healed enough to tell the real story. A guy from my town was in her convoy; they believe he was the one who Jessica's story got crossed with. He was shot, but still alive. The insurgents dragged him a couple hundred feet into a shed, then killed him. That gave him POW status.
Lynch's story is excusable, since it was cleared up once she was healthy enough. Not telling the truth about Tillman doesn't make him "less of a man" or anything like that. He served his country; he was killed in an accident. It happens. But DoD shouldn't have lied about it.

First of all, it was the military who didn't want the information out. I am in no way condoning the misinformation, but I do believe they did not want ANY information leaked before an investigation was done. The truth came out a long, long time ago--bringing it up now is just a way for the Dems to bring more unpopularity to the war.
Secondly-I'd like to point out as in Tillman AND Pvt Lynch's stories--THE PRESS was making them out to be larger than life before any official military report was issued. Both are heroic in my book, but when the media starts this feeding frenzy........"gone down in a blaze of glory" propaganda, how can the pentagon reveal the TRUTH to the families who've lost their son/daughter.........."gee, I'm sorry......your child was a hero and died serving their country, but the media is giving him/her credit for something that just isn't true."? Families suffer enough when they lose someone.........the media builds them up by sensationalizing the story before all the facts are in.

Pat Tillman was a hero and died for something he believed in. The fact that he was killed by friendly fire does not diminish the sacrifice he made for his country. That is oftentimes a sad consequence of war. So it annoys me when little liberal panty wearers like you with no military service try to make this some big issue. If the Pentagon f up in the way they reported and handled this make them accountable.

When it happened, and when we found out he died from FF, nobody made any deal about it, why is it such a big deal now?
You guys just pick whatever you can to try and hurt Bush, thats it.
Why didnt you guys make a big deal about how Bush got Lybia to give up its WMD's? Because you only talk about the bad things. Get a life.

It isn't any different then him using 9/11 for political purposes. It's not a big shocker to me that the people surrounding him have done this.

The military not Bush decieved us about an accidental death, yet in war it happens, it soesnd make Tillman less of a hero, he was there because he believed in what we are fighting for. That has been over looked
