No. Most people just feel guilty about receiving things. But they are usually just being bad to themselves by not taking what they deserve.
Sometimes, receiving, or, rather, taking, can be a beneficial thing. It can be interpreted as initiative, boldness, energy. In relationships, taking can be giving at the same time, as long as you respect the other person.
Furthermore, there are times when people give and give while all they want is to receive, which is outright selfish, and dishonest, too.

If everyone took where would we be. I enjoy giving so much. But if you're not enjoying it then something is wrong. Don't be used. And sometimes the person you give to may indeed not deserve it. It always depends on the situation. And giving and recieving isnt just material things. People can offer each other so much more than material things. NOT that getting gifts aren't highly appreciated on mah end. Anyway my direct answer to your question, if you keep everything relatively equal then hopefuly your joy is just as good when you give and when you recieve.

I think so. Giving makes you feel a lot better with yourself and it's a feeling you can't get easily. It is great to give. Guess it depends on the person

yes because it shows you have a caring heart. Receiving all the time shows you're a user because then you're gonna KEEP on expecting to receive all the time.
