We've got no basis of what the person looks like. So, we go for the next best thing: An image representation of what the person feels like looking as while on yahoo answers.
What's wrong with that?

It is very unfortunate...very unfortunate to judge (period).
Well...jokes on them!
Little do they know, I'm actually an 80-year-old man. Ever since I lost my teeth...I've found the Internet to be a great way to mingle.
Personally, I have a thing for geeks and most of these intellectuals cannot be bothered with an avatar. I find myself quite often smitten for the grey profiler.

Not really. Since your avatar lets you choose how you want to present yourself, being judged by that is entirely legitimate.(sys the guy who hasn't bothered his a$$ to make an avatar).

I judge people from what they say (write, in this case) and do and not of how they look.
Yet....Judging your avatar, I say you are innocent!!.
My avatar is popular enough, I don't need to be exposed!
