Full time Job

If I had a chance to do a good business, I'd start right away. If without a degree I can be successful, why not.
At the same time, I do value education. So since it is part time and free, I'd take advantage of that and do it side by side.

Have the cake and eat it too.
PS: Just saw it...
If you have a good job, I'd take the degree first.
And handle the business too if possible. Or let someone do it till Degree is over.

I plan to get engineering degree also, but why don't you keep going with the engineering to masters instead of business?. that's like taking spanish for a year and switching to french the next. be good at one thing. you don't need a business degree to start a business, all you need is money. If you have the money already open up a shop, but if not go for the masters and better yourself.

(b) I would start a business

since ..

- I already have a 7 to 5 full time job
- engineers do it with precision ;-)
- the business is an on-line business
- it is a services oriented era and I already have my engineering expertise and services to sell.
- masters in business would only provide me with credentials and not the actual business acumen.
- engineering services are the need of the day; the whole is being pulled down and then re-built.
- the sooner I start - the sooner I'll be ..

THERE!

Go ahead and just DO IT MAN!
don't procrastinate .. be proactive!
Go gett'em TIGER!

Study first because you have a job already and you need to save some money for your business. Anyway the Master course won't take very long.

if you take an MBA, you don't have to start a business cos there will be lots of employment opportunities after getting that masters.

I believe that engineering is more practical than theoretical and engineers are much needed right now. So I'd say b.
