Or is everything we want to do contingent on external factors (if someone wanted to end their life, they would have to have the means to do so, but what if they were a quadriplegic and can't attain those)?

there is someone else who thinks this way..a strong part of me believes we dont have control over anything..we wind up where we are for a reason and i believe everything happens for a reason...for ex my son who is 3 now..was in a accident when we he was one causin him righ side brain damage n when it happened thepolice said he was very close to death n he had like a 10% to live but undoublty he had angels or somebody on the other side keepin him here instead...also deja vu's play a big part in control for something to have already happened before it has actually happened is freaky to me :) but thanks for askin this...makes ya wonder sometimes what lifehas in store for us

10%of what happens in life is beyond control...but 90%is within our control..i.e..our reaction to circumstances can help gain control over life..
