I have but one emotion and while it may seem strange to many to say this, my thoughts are older than myself.
If you have read Plato then ou have read the Republic and you have read the wax allegory. I see emotion much the same as the wax, changing form to fit the world around it but all the time remaining the same substance.
If you try and identify my emotion by my appearance then you may be greatly deceived where as if you try and identify me by my emotion you may be pleasantly surprised.
