Short movie poll, anyone?

Question

Some of the following have more than one film, due to sequel, etc. Select your favorite. Here it goes.

1. Spider-Man's or X-Men's?
2. Batman's or Superman's?
3. Alien's or Predator's? (Exclude AVP)
4. A Nightmare on Elm Street's or Friday the 13th's or Holloween's? (Exclude Freddy vs. Jason)
5. Star Wars' or Star Trek's?

Well, all of them have trilogies, etc. So pick one for each question. Although some may go with both/all. Thanks. Peace!

Answer 1

1. Spiderman is just like every other hero, only his real identity is even more of a wuss than the rest. The X-men don't get a shot at hiding who they are. There's also much more complexity involved in good vs. evil on the mutant side alone. I have to go with X-Men on this one, the second of which was awesome.

2. Superman always irritated me because of how perfect he is. He has every power you could want plus the love of the city. His one weakness, kryptonite, is harder to find than Achilles Heel. Batman has no powers of his own. He's one of the normal people but used his own intelligence to create all his weapons and tools. Down to the Batcave. When he's not fighting the bad guys, he's dealing with the political dangers of his social life. Plus while the movies were always horribly cheesy (kicking a rubber shark off his feet while dangling from a helicopter), the stories were better. Score one for the man in black.

3. I'm ashamed to say I haven't seen any of the Alien movies so Predator gets this point.

4. I have yet to see the Halloween movies, but look at it this way. Mike Myers comes out once a year. Jason, maybe four times a year. Freddy doesn't have a day planner and shows up whenever he wants to. Which scares you more? Ever see The Last Nightmare? He shows up in the real world! Plus, he's the only one who's ever been able to kill Johnny Depp. That takes some skill.

5. This one's hard. Star Trek needs to be broken down into it's own question since there's been so many subseries from it. Captain Picard was probably my favorite, although watching Spock attempt to curse due to too much "LDS" was the greatest moment ever. The first three Star Wars movies (where Anikin's a kid) were horrible in comparrison just from the overdone computer animation. The last will always be classics.

1. X-Men was awesome until the 3rd movie, but the first 2 were excellent.

2. Batman, I liked all of them, even the bad ones. And the newest Batman I thought was pretty good.

3. Predator 1 was a classic, part 2 was ok. I'll go with Predator because of part 1, Get to the CHOPPA!

4. Freddy is and always has been my favorite scary movie character, and his movies were cool. I liked him because he was scary, but he also cracked jokes and what not. Plus sometimes when I would sleep he'd be my little killing friend in my dreams. And when he wasnt well I always had a dinosaur with me when I went to sleep.

5. Star Wars, I dont rememeber anything about Star Trek movies, and the Stars Wars movies were pretty good.
