Dealerships started deleting key codes that are 96 and older so they will probably refer you to a locksmith.
If the doors aren't locked remove the PASSENGER side door lock and take it to a locksmith to make a key. While your there ask about the ignition.
Locksmiths charge a lot less than dealerships and they can make chip keys too.

A 1993 most likely won't have a chip in the key,,though it is possible.
It takes one key for the door, and one key for the ignition.

Have you replaced the inertia switch, it's a safety cut off switch that will become weak, and pop the circuit breaker for electrical voltage to the fuel pump. Mind on my ford ranger was on the passenger side, left tool under the heater vent. It's looks like a black pack of cigarettes with a plunger that keeps popping the circuit breaker, Check ! with Ford Garage, for location. It might be located above one of the rear inside fender wells... Good Luck....Also check the ignition module, which is screwed to the out side of the distribitor , don't forget to use the heat jel when replacing,,

door key and ignition key might be different.. not for sure..either way....go to the dealership and get new keys cut...at parts department...you will need the VIN#, and proof of ownership with your name on it.. an a picture ID..like your Drivers license...they will be able to cut you new keys..ask before cutting keys if ignition key will have to be programed..if so then you will have to bring it to dealership for this to be done.

call a ford dealer with the vin number. they can help you. the vin number is the vehicle identification number. should be in the left hand corner of the dash. look thru the windshield.
